Stagecraft Acting School was founded in 2010, and was formerly run for many years under the name of The Australian Acting Academy. This prestigious school has a unique curriculum that has inspired and motivated over 40,000 students in the past 16 years. Our teachers are not only trained in the best acting techniques for Stage and Film, they are also trained in advanced Life Coaching skills that allow them to create an environment of Safety and Confidence for all of our students to enjoy each week.

Our focus is helping students become Happy, Confident and Successful PEOPLE, not just Successful ACTORS. And we do this by making learning Fun! This makes Stagecraft unique to Australia, with students becoming confident and creative lateral thinkers who Thrive to Succeed! Many of our past students have gone on to success in many different creative fields, such as Home and Away stars Josh Lawson, Charles Cottier and Lincoln Lewis (who also plays Kevin in Tomorrow, When the War Began), Neighbours star Ben Lawson, Totally Wild host Wes Denning, and most recently Dimitri Baveas, a young Australian actor who has starred in The Ruins, Sinbad and the Minotaur, Underbelly tele-movie “Tell Them Lucifer Was Here”, and is now involved with ABC in a TV series titled “The Slap.”
